VB Consulting Group, a training and technical assistance consulting firm, has served clients since 1989, providing quality training, technical assistance, executive coaching, and capacity building for nonprofits, early care and education programs, and faith- and community-based organizations.

The talented team at VB Consulting Group has a combined 40 years of experience delivering quality training and technical assistance to School Districts, the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, the Georgia Department of Health, Head Start programs, and individuals.


Virginia Baker is a transformational leader, master trainer and consultant with more than 30 years of experience strengthening children, families, organizations and communities. She is widely respected for her expertise in early childhood education, family engagement, child maltreatment prevention, nonprofit leadership and systems collaboration.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of VB Consulting Group, Virginia provides training, technical assistance, executive coaching and organizational development support to early childhood programs, schools, nonprofits, faith-based organizations and community agencies. She personally leads every VB Consulting Group workshop, drawing from decades of executive leadership and direct service experience to make each session practical, engaging and relevant.

Virginia holds a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from West Georgia College and is an Advanced State-Approved Trainer for Early Childhood Educators. She is also a SHRM Certified Professional, a Connections Matter Certified Facilitator and a Courage to Care Certified Facilitator. These credentials support her ability to help organizations strengthen leadership, improve workplace practices and apply trauma-informed approaches when serving children and families.

Her contributions have earned several honors, including the 2021 Partner in Prevention Award from Darkness to Light. In 2023, United Way of Greater Atlanta and Sheltering Arms established the Virginia Baker Parent Leadership Award in recognition of her impact on family engagement and parent leadership.
